There are two plans to choose from, one is by monthly rental basis (maybe not available now) and another is on-purchase. The cost of the device is Rs 2,500.

- Service Tax as applicable will be charged extra.
- The above bundle free usage will also be available while roaming.
- The usage charges beyond bundled free usage will be @ Rs. 0.50/- per MB.
- The above volume-based tariff will be applicable wherever volume-based charging and billing is feasible. Otherwise, revised Unlimited plan (Rs.999) will be applicable.
- ATTENTION: If you are from Chennai, please read this.
- CDMA 1x plan is also available at cost of Rs. 150 per month and device at Rs. 2000 which offers 144 Kbps in speed.
- Existing EVDO users can still enjoy the unlimited plan at Rs 650/mo + tax.

1.Free usage is also applicable while in national roaming.
2.data charges while in national roaming is the same as that of normal data charges.

IMPORTANT:
Do note that the speeds will/may vary depending on few parameters like how far you stay from the tower and the signal strength etc.
Before buying the device, ask your telephone exchange officers about the type of network available in your area. If your area has no EVDO network at the time of purchase, its better to opt for CDMA 1x network plan and later when they establish EVDO network, they will notify you via mail. Then you can get your device reconfigured for free at the local telephone exchange and start accessing the EVDO network.
