Able to get voice and video services?

Today I got a call from the exchange and enquired about my experience on voice and video chat on using Skype and Yahoo. I said I am able to get this facility. But one of the customer returned back the instrument on saying that they are not able to talk with their daughter who is in New Zealand. Please share your experience on voice and video chat.

well.. i was able to make a one-way video chat and two-way voice chat, successfully with my CDMA 1x network Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.

i am able to have a voice chat(full duplex mode) via g-talk, Skype and yahoo messenger, in CDMA 1x Network, In here at Maharashtra.

yes.. works Ok with EVDO... massive delays... so not exactly an optimum solution for voice


video works just fine ( not video chat)

With low upload speeds atleast in this version of EVDO.. highly unlikely that these services will improve...
