Hi there
recently saw an ad in newspaper ( on world telecom day ) that bsnl has launched EV-DO in Ahmedabad , Surat, Rajkot .
when i inquired at local exchange. Rep. said What is EV-DO ?Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.
So any memeber have any news about it ? whom to contact ?
i m thinking to going to NIB to have chat with network engineer there.

i went to the NIB today. They are launching EV-DO in a month. Installation of EV-Do are going on in all CDMA Tower. EV-DO coverage will be throughout Ahmedabad.

BSNL has launched EV-Do in RAJKOT city.

They are going to launch EV-DO in ahmedabad on 15th july.
Bookings are goin on. I m going to register mine on 1500.
2 plans.
2500 Rs. (NIC) + 250 Rs. Activation charge + 250 Rs. mothly charge and speed is upto 144Kbps.
3500 Rs. (NIC) + 250 Rs. Activation charge + 550 Rs. mothly charge and speed is upto 2.4 Mbps.

Got my ZTE card.Paid 3500 + 250 Activation Fee + 550 Advance Rental. Total 4237.
They told me that my card will be activate by evening.
Drivers and installation went smooth. I m not getting any signals and i dont have U-RIM card installed. He told me that there will be no voice only EV-Do so you wont require the card.
what are the settings in Option Menu? username ? password ? Number ? #777 ?

ok i entered the phone number in username and password .
but i m not getting any signals at all. and Green Led is slowly flashing.

try some other location..
PLzz chk wther EVDO is written after the signal symbol in GUI of EVDO..if yes..you click on connect button and see wheter its connecting or not if not then plzz see wats the error msg its giving.
