Hello EVDO fellas!!!

This is my first post here, i have been a silent reader on the forum as never had any issues with my EVDO connection(it r0cks!!!Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.).....am from Pune

I have been using EVDO for more than a year now, never had any issues...
I had went to the BSNL exchange as had to upgrade my device for national roaming...the exchange guys asked me to give an application regarding the same with a xerox copy of my latest paid bill which i did....but whats strange is that they dint ask for the modem...they said it will be done in 24hrs...but i guess modem needs to be reconfigured for roaming

Hi! Yes, your modem has to be reconfigured in order avail the roaming service. Please do update us about how good is roaming.

@Gigacore can you provide the latest update on roaming?
Last week i enquired in BSNL they said it will take few months

I am from Pune (Bharati Vidyapeeth Area) and I am using the EVDO device since 1 month. When I purchased the device, 1 month back, I have received 10 digit no. 96XXXXX

My queries are:

1. Do I need to re-configure my device in order to activate national roaming? ( I already have 10 digit no.)

2. What is prl? How to upload prl into the device?

3. Say If I am at a place ( roaming )where BSNL has not yet launched EVDO service - Can I use the device by receiving CDMA 1-X signal?
