Just now I called the BSNL marketing people
They said that from Tomorrow roaming will be activated.
"You need to reconfigure your device"
So all the EVDO users who wants roaming facility can go their nearest exchange tomorrow and can get their device reconfigured
is this only for bangalore users or for other cities as well?
For every city i suppose because its a national roaming

I called koramangala exchange.They are saying in karnataka it will be implemented after 2 months.

Hey guys !
Any updates about roaming on your devices. Did you reconfigure your devices or it worked on its own. I called up my exchange they told me to come over and get the device configured. Its not possible today as I'm in a different city today. Will update once I get it done. I do get the roaming logo on the interface though as always it says "Remote computer did not .... ". BSNL guy told me he needs to change NID and SID settings etc.

I didnt go to the exchange today because i think BSNL employees are confused they dont have any idea about roaming facility
