No notification received in Chennai.. In another Forum when I asked a user to ask the current plans details for EVDO-REV-A services in Anna Road Exchange the officer inform him, the rate is same Rs 550/ for EVDo REV-A also ( they havn/t change it to even 650/- plans (since roaming is yet to be implemented here)
DE (WLL) Ernakulam is misinterpreting the original order where the original order is silence about migrating the existing users to new plans.. also levying the same charges for EVDO-REV-0 and EVDO-REV-A is clearly violating the several guidelines existing in the BSNL as well as found to raise customers complaints of discrimination..
This is a fit case for TRAI and court.. affected customer may email this to cmdbsnl@bsnl.co.in
This is the one case where I couldn't defend my own officers and organization..
This is real trouble for all the evdo users, To my extreme embarrassment i made an outright purchase of the evdo n guess the kind of trouble i am in just after a month of purchase..... The unlimited plan at 550 was too convincing and i dint think of such a move from bsnl so fast...I just called in a BSNL guy at Kottayam(Kerala) Exchange and hes not sure about the exact status of the new tariff, but hes certain that this is indeed on the way and it is just a matter of days or months b4 this comes into act....the new plan is definitely going to come pounding on us... This is pure cheating and exremely dissapointing for the guys who made an outright purchase(I accept, i must be dump :-(, to do that ) .. but i am not going to sit silent and watch they prove me so.. I'll wait for few days and try n confirm this and certainly have to find some way to get back my money from them...
I need some more facts.. Pl tell me whether the card is evdo REV-0 or REV -A? because for the old type cards if there is any increase you can approach TRAI directly just visit there websites quote your case and email your GM.. But for the New cards which offer better speed than the old. no case can made..Even here where the new plans is yet to be notified the officers are alerting the customer that the rate of EVDO REV-A will be at at par with EVDO-/REV-0 but liable to increase if new plans is notified to them(they could not just implement the order on the basis of website posting along) So new users pl verify the facts

but what i come to conclusion that, even after paying 1000+100(taxes) per month for 2mbps unlimited is comparatively inexpensive to other options still.

I haven't upgraded to new 650 rental plan yet and still paying 550. BSNL guys told me that if you need roaming then you must upgrade to 650 plan, which i dont require right now. So i think this new tariff plan is a huge blow for my austerity initiative !
The note on the last line may clear our doubts, RS999 is applicable only where it is feasible otherwise it is our usual 550rs plan, Maybe BSNL's feasible meant REV-A!!..And for sure BSNLs language adviser has pathetic English
• The above volume-based tariff will be applicable wherever volume-based charging and billing is feasible.Otherwise, revised Unlimited Plan(Rs.999) as mentioned above will be applicable.
Hi Friends ,
Our existing plan is unlimited usage at 650/mnth , from November if the tariffs are changing , how our existing plans are going to be changed ?
Whether our plan will automatically be changed to unlimited 999 ( 999 + tax ) or our plan will be changed to 5GB limit/mnth ( in that case we need to pay for every extra MB we use after the limit of 5 GB is crossed - ( 650 for 5GB + tax + charge of extra MB ).

any one got any idea about this ? Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.
