RE: EVDO card for Dell inspiron 1525 laptop
there is no PCMCIA EVDO device at the moment...

BSNL is giving only EVDO Device which uses USB for its connectivity... So obviously u have to go for USB...

Though I have heard that there is a PCMCIA cards given by BSNL, but it isn't EVDO.

Please don't PM/Email me regarding any technical query. They will go unread/ignored. Instead do post them in forums. Let others know ur problems too.

BSNL Kerala is giving PCMCIA EVDO cards and also PCMCIA 1X cards,
EVDO cards for the USB & PCMCIA port are the same cost.

I am using an Inspiron 1525.
As Jameandrew said... It has no PCMCIA option.

Even if you have a PCMCIA option, I will not recommend to buy one.
USB is always better. Coz you can place it wherever you want with the extension cable to get more range.

For me the USB EVDO connection works fine. I am getting near 1Mbps with 4 bars. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.
