EVDO continiously connects and reconnects !-URGENT help .-Now Resolved

I got a EVDO device and it is configured and activated .

This is on my desktop ( high end desktop ,meaning a good powerful one).
The issues is EVDO continiously connects and reconnects .
It has 2 bars EVDO displayed ,it connects and immediately disconnects and displays "The projection phase is starting" and it connects and reconnects and again the same message.

I am running windows xp pro sp2 . I have tried disabling firewall and antivirus ,still same issue .I have tried different USB port still the same issue . It is on com15 .


The same device with again 2 EVDO bars works fine on the laptop that is placed next to the desktop Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images. . It connects in one shot and can get upto >500kbps . This is on COM9 port.

Does COM port numbers matter ?

Why is this not working on the dekstop and works on the laptop ?

It has nothing to do with your PC. Whether its a entry level or the high end.. it doesn't matter at all. Also it has nothing to do with USB.

Is it is working fine on the laptop and not on the desktop means, that the place where u connect the device to your desktop is placed is not receiving good amount of signal. Try placing the device all around ur desktop in different locations using the provided extension data cable.

The desktop and laptop is next to each other . and the EVDO remains where it is . I dont remove the device from its place .

Resolved . Had VMware installed and disabled the VMware services and disabled the 2 network adapters that it had created . Now connected continuously . Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images. .Now need to figure how to make that into 4 bars ha ha .

Hi, I was staying in Marathalli.. EVDO was working properly there. But now I have shifted to Murgeshpallya. I am getting 3 signals but its not connecting. Can any one tell me how to solve this issue?

Please help me!!
