Hi,
I live in Sukhsagar Nagar (near Bibewadi/Upper Indra Nagar)
there is a telephone exchange(Sukhsagar ngr) right besides my building (infact its easily visible frm the window nr my PC)
The speed i get is 256-320 kbps(kilo bits)... and thats 1/8 th of the true potential...

can u tell me whether this cellular tower i mentioned above
is responsible for the EVDO data transmission???

It is pretty hard to say that the tower has EVDO transmitter coz, most of the EVDO transmitters are being installed on the existing towers, so its pretty hard to make out. So the only way to know is to ask the bsnl people.

And do u get EVDO or 1X ?

Hi i am using EVDO on Sus Road....My download speed range from 20kbps to 55kbps....overall ok performance.

Hi ,
I am from Pune Hadapsar Saswad Road.

I had purchased the EVDO Connection in PUNE and after installing the CD (Modem & USB Port) for initial 2 mins it is showing EVDO and strength Signal of 2 Bars but after that it lost the connectivity and shows no signal and during the signal i had used the number & password to login but shows remote computer not found.

Pls suggest me what to do next...I am not able to diagnose or resolve this issue.

Looking for your wise suggestion and if possible please share any customer care contact details which are working for EVDO.

I am staying at hadapsar Nr AIPT speeds are good here i get download speeds of upto 300kbps.
Since yesterday my card shows "an authentication event has occurred" and just stops there.

u r using incorrect username and password...use 'cdma' for both....and keep the phone same as #777

for bsnl evdo queries u can connect to 020-25665400 or 25665000

let me know how much speed u r getting...

I am staying in Pimpri(PCMC) and m getting good speed about 500 - 800kbps. And download speed in torrentz is 50 - 60kbps ;-)

i think the BSNL tower is right there in Model Colony ???
