EVDO Internet connection sharing with a (wireless) router

I googled around for 2 days for some good material on how to network computers to share dialup internet connection. You can find enough material on networking but this requirement was unique so I had a tough time finding the right information. Finally I found one.

What you need:
A PC / LapTop on which EVDO is connected and running on windows XP
A (Wireless) router
Ethernet cable
And..........
Courage to experiment and great patience !!

If you can live with Wifi connection sharing, Google for ad hoc networking . . .

This means that you can use the same computer on which EV-DO modem is connected as a WiFi router and connect other computers to this WiFi router and share the Internet connection on it . . .

I tried this with my laptop and my phone (it has WiFI), I was successfully able to browse net on my phone!!!

This is very simple and it doesn't require any other router as mentioned in the post above.
