Yes....even i would like to know that...I'm a little swivel minded between Tata Photon or BSNL EVDO....nd yeah i live in Virar..so anyone around please post your experience with EVDO...

My name is Anush, I live in Virar, and recently purchased EVDO, I get two bars of EVDO and sometimes 4. but signal is weak , so i phoned and met all bsnl offices from bolinj exchg to kalyan. they said that EVDO is upgraded in Vasai and still to be upgraded in Virar,(in process). But still i am satisfied with its download speeds,. sometimes i get 130kBps direct or torrent download speed, but mostly 30 to 60KBps.

Hi Pandey,
Good to know that you have purchased EVDO , Speed depends on many factors. Basically you must have EVDO network indication and good network bars . i Receive 4Bars and a download speeds of 100kBps. dont worry EVDO performance in VIRAR and Nallasopara is weak. but due to repeated complaints and emails for 2-3 months now they r upgrading EVDO Tower in VIRAR /Nallasopara within a Week. EVDO transmitters are at Vasai for now.

For the error you get, you will have to reinstall you ZTE DRIVERS and Software and type in your password and user id correctly ie cdma.

I am trying to get in touch with all EVDO users in VIRAR ,VASAI. Give me your Phone no so that we have communication easily

[Hi Anush Thanx for your comments, however I just wanted to tell that remote computer does not respond issue got resolved now, I had not done any s/w installations. Previously I was not getting any bars of signal, so I moved my PC towards window and used the extension cable provided by BSNL and then I got the bars after which it got connected.
So basically there was issue with network coverage.

I require one help from you. Do you any source from where I can get big USB extension cable for that EVDO. I think that will be really helpful for me.

Hey pandey,
I had mentioned somewhere in this topic that u must have EVDO signal or atleast 1X for connection. Even I dont get signal inside my house I use a 3 meter extender and place the modem on my grill that is on my window.You will get the extender cable 3meter in Champion shop in lamington for 70Rs or 1Meter cable for 20Rs in Lamington. I wanted to be touch with all evdo users in vasai-virar area.please give me ur Mobile no so that we could discuss common problems regarding EVDO, U could email me ur no at anush510073@yahoo.com or post it here.
