Note:- you need to have the special RF connector to connect the evdo device.

Even if you get the RF connector , how does this connector connect to the EVDO device ?

Can you post and pic of yours connecting to the EVDO device ? that would help a lot .
THanks

RE: How to boost the signal
hi,
i am from trivandrum, kerala and recently i purchased BSNL EVDO.. in my room i used to get 3 bars initially but now i am getting only 2 bars and the max. speed in less than 200kbps. i tried the slide Cd trick but it didn't help much.
will the signal increase if i keep the EVDO near the window using uSB extension cable? i will be needing around 5m cable for the purpose . somebody told me that it will reduce the signal if the cable length is large? please advice?
My nearest tower is 4 km way..

The link took me to a guide on how to build a yagi antenna for GSM signals. Since EVDO is CDMA, will it work? Pardon my ignorance if I'm asking a silly question.
