I took evdo usb device recently..,for 2.4 mbps speeds there shud be 3g technology enabled tower.I am getting speeds of around 110kbps..meaning the device is getting connected to cdma tech enabled tower.Surfed at major centres like basheerbagh.,jubilee hills..,cross roads only to see cdma speeds.Hyderabad still has to wait for 3g upgradation i think.Anyways, no regret buying the device in advance as it is much better than reliance and tata wireless internet cards.

Cool RE: Hyderabad Coverage?
Thanks to my uncle(who works as BSNL JTO),to let me know of this wonderful provision.True ,it seems to be wonderful once the BSNL towers facilities are well equipped with needed technologies but currently the max speeds are around 100 kbps in areas like Golconda .Yet to try JHills,KPHB(heard that Madhapur is equipped with this facility). So would be interested to try it out there and post the information /results.However glad that I am close to and better placed to experience high speed internet in INDIA Guests cannot see images in the messages.
