not able to connect thru EVDO card

Hello fried,,i bought BSNL EVDO card but while coonecting its giving error "remote host not responding" please tell me how to solve this problem

welcome!

it takes you few hours for BSNL to activate ur EVDO connection.

Call the number of ur EVDO, thats written on the box (along with ur local std code)

If it says "Phone Switched off" then ur EVDO is activated Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.

BTW.. would u like to join EVDO User group ?

Thnx for the info bro..BSNL peoplle told tat it took 24 hours for activation.I would love to join EVDO group,just tell me the procedure.
One more thing does EVDO works in VISTA bcoz i am using vista

thnx for the info..Same things happened to me.but when i insert the ZTE on the USB it automatically install the driver and message is device ready to use...
Then i open the software and click on connenctstep 1: connecting to device
step 2:Autentication process started
step 3:Remote computer not responding

So wats the problem can u figure it out.
I bought it yestreday,it might not have been activated

I am confuse.When i open the software..I can see the signal, EVDO written but while connecting its giving error.I think i shuld try calling tat number and chk wether it has been activated or not

I dialed the number,it saying"Number doesnot exist"

Did you give the user name and password correctly, please check it. This user name and password fixed by BSNL people

Yeah,i am confused with username and password..
In the box 2 number is written
One is alphanumeric and other is numeral
Can u tell me which one is the username
and what to put in the phone number column by default its #777
