can u please tell me the speed in kB.. how long does it take to download a 10 mb file.. i m plannin to get one connection tommoro.. i m currently using dataone unlimited plan which i get for 900/rs... and i get a 256 kbps connection and i get an efective sped of 30 kB... that means i will get 10 mb at around 5 minutes.. evdo's speed id 2 mbps.. what is the actual download speed that u get??? does the signal needs to be so strong to get good speed?? i live in cochin city and i presume that i get good range here.. should i check it before i take the connection..

in cochin its 500+200 for rental plans.. ul... but evdo is limiting torrent traffic so beware before u buy...

^ thats a good piece of infomation. And glad to see u using EVDO already! Is EV-DO network available in cochin or are u still on CDMA 1x ?

i am getting 2mbps from rapidshare (premium)
i don't use torrents no problems for me
