Problem during Roaming

I have purchased EVDO card from surat and at present I am at ahmedabad.
I am not able to use the card in ahmedabad. I have tried changing the programming but have not succeded in so.
If anyone can post settings file that i could load on my card it would be great.

i am also planning to buy it at surat and use at Ahmedabad. In case you were able to resolve the problem, pls let us know. by the way, is it technically possible? i mean is intra state roaming activated?

Use cdma as username and password to connect. It should work if the roaming between cities is activated.

When i purchased my EVDO, i specifically inquired about the roaming. I was told at the Pune office that there are some issues that are being ironed out at the BSNL level and as soon as those issues are solved, the EVDO device will work all over India and the private-shared IP problem will also be taken care off.

Hi, I also purchased EVDO from Surat and I did enquiry for roaming for Ahmedabad and got answer that its not available at moment. On telephonic talk with officer, he told me that BSNL is planing to introduce Prepaid card to use with EVDO and that will be for all over INDIA with in 3-4 month. I am going to get more detail in 2-3 days when I visit again to him.

i'll update on it when i get more infomation. For time being no roaming available between cities.

I have bought my EVDO card from PUNE. Now I have come to nagpur for vacations. Its it possible to use this card to connect to net atleast. When ever i try i get Authentication event has occured.

BSNL people of surat had told that it is not going to work in any other cities except home ie surat.I took my EV DO at ahmedabad during diwali but it didnt work. it was showing X symbol at site of towers.

Therefore inter city roaming is not possible.

I am an EVDO user in Chennai. I had purchased it from Guindy office a few months back. Now I plan to use it at Ernakulam or to be more precise at Kakkanad area in Cochin. As per the posts does it mean that I will not be able to access it in Kakkanad? If anyone could help me with precise answer. Thank you.

I'm too having the same problem. Purchased from Surat and can't use in Ahmedabad. Do you have any solution?
