Signal Strenth in EVDO GUI

Hi,

I am getting 4 bars and 600kpbs in Electronic city,and just 2 kms away from tower,but there is no pulses in gui,I tried with CD-Slide method & USB extension also,begininig time only i will get pulses, after it will be goes on decreasing to zero,can any one have solution for this,please help me,

The same happens to me as well Suresh....Even i have 4 bars shpwing up in the signal but later after somtime the pulses in the graph goes completely down....Might be some software glitch because the speed is still remaining good even though the graph is down....

It is strange to know,hasn't happened to me yet.Why don't you re-install the modem and check for a change..

any idea to improve signal strength. when we operate in closed or dense area signal is very week.

i bought EVDO yesterday (1st Sep 08) but it reaches upto Max 11kpbs only... Is there any way to increase the speed.. am getting only 2 point of signal strengh..

Hi check out if u get 1x signal or EVDO signal in that EVDO GUI....11 kbps is very less ...even if in cdma 1x. So you check out the speed when you are using it heavily or downloading something. signal strength doesnt matter much.Guests cannot see images in the messages. It shows me 1X only.. it never shows me EVDO.. tower is 5-6 km away only.. What shall i do..

ok in that case, u need to configure it for EVDO. Take it to the excahnge from where u got it or nearby one n get it configured. U ll be asked to submit in written that u r changing ur plan to 2.4 MBPS plan. Do that n make sure that ur area is covered under EVDO coverage by following up in the forum or asking officials. If its not covered, I dont think it is a good idea to configure it. But evn in 1x u should be ble to get bout 100 to 120kbps

u r lucky man...ur getting 4 bars...think of mine....m getting only 2 bars....and gets download speed upto 20 kBps...

u will get pulses only when u r downloading or browsing.....

i suggest u to check the pusle while downloading a file through freedownloadermanager or orbitdownloader...u will also get to know ur max download speed...
