skype
Dudes,
I'm using BSNL EVDO data card for skype and the speech and video often breaks up. Any suggession to improve the speed? I'm getting only 155k on the card. Also, is there any alternate product available from any other vendors? My requirement is limited mobility in south kerala, should be able to use skype with video. thanks, |

RE: skype
Hi and welcome to the forums!
If your EVDO signal strength is good enough, you must be able to get 250 - 300 KBps. But you can get those speeds because still EVDO network in India is in flux state. Soon when they establish more towers, the signal strength will increase considerably. And there is no such alternative available in India at the moment. Either wait for better EVDO coverage or till others start to roll out EVDO. Broadband is the only solution for video conference at the moment. You can increase the signal strength by changing the location of the device. And also slide in a old waste CD into the aerial, this will increase the speed a bit. Keep Visiting the forum. And will u like to join EVDO usergroup ? Please don't PM/Email me regarding any technical query. They will go unread/ignored. Instead do post them in forums. Let others know ur problems too. |

RE: skype
Saw this in one of the US forums. Will this setting work for us to help performance?
