software for getting static IP

Hi all

i need a program which should work as follows

1 : connect to bsnl server using user name and password

2: if connection established then check ip address

3: if it is a shared IP (218.248.68.63) disconnect it and try to reconnect

4: continue this process untill get a static IP.( other than 218.248.68.63)

is there any one who is capable of making this program?


if any one have any idea about dialup connection programming please share with me

Dont be so rude to new members..

You can write a script for it, in linux. There is no point. You are on a NAT. Unless bsnl does something about it, you will get the same ip address every time you connect.

its juse the evdo software alreddy does almost all that work

Veagles is right, unless BSNL implements it at their server level, you can't do much

Well, a static IP is called static IP because you will get the same IP whenever you reconnect
.
Here, you are looking to make connection again and again and looking to get a static IP
.
You are getting that IP changed because its dynamic
.
If you want to get same IP all the time you make a connection, you can use proxies or VPNs
.

IP are allocated or assigned by ISP only... there nothing u can do...
In EVDO we get DYNAMIC IP not STATIC IP, previously we used to get public/shared IP.

DYNAMIC IP -> IP changes for each session.
STATIC IP -> watever u do IP remains same.
PUBLIC / SHARED IP -> one external IP is shared by many users. all users will have same external IP.
