FINALLY ...I got my bill.I payed through a Duplicate one since i know they will take ages to send the bill at my residence.And yes even for securing the Duplicate bill i had to run for 3 days.That's because of the following reasons

1.I was not given the "unique no." by which my account is created.No where in the Demand Note(which i was given at the time of purchase) was it mentioned.

2.The person issuing a Duplicate Bill had never heard of "EV-DO"

Anyhow i got all the details from BSNL Register for EV-DO users.I had to request them to dig it out for me.A lady did it for me immediately(Surprisingly) because when i went to the man who issued and handed me the device had asked me to check out the "EV-DO Box" and then come he was sure the box had the number but I wasn't.(I was pissed off) I knew he didn't want to search the register simply!!!TYPICAL of a BSNL Employee.

With all the details with me i finally got my FIRST BILL(Duplicate)

i have got my device on 17th July and activated on 24th July. when will I get my first bill ?

@ nisarg86,

Initially u ll get bills for 2 months or 3 months combined according to ur activation date. Most probably u ll get a bill around mid aug for the months of july, aug and sept.. Note: They bill u one month in advance i.e. You have to pay bill of Oct on or before 4th Oct( it works something like this) So dont be shocked if ur 1st bill amount is huge.

Got my first bill. 268 Rs. 17th July to 31st July. but activation was done on 24th July. Demand Note was created on 17th. I am confused. how are they calculating ?

I got mine activated on 9th july and I have recieved a bill of 2345 Rs for usage from 9th July to 31st Sept.

Just wondering, is Rs.500 activation charges normal now? I remember reading Rs.250 somewhere. I'm at Bangalore.
