What is the exact speed of EVDO???? Is this get 2.4MB??????????

U will never gona get 1MB download speed with this device since its max speedis 2mbps and if u get 2.4mbps consistantly they ur Max download speed would be 300KBps tats Max u cannot get more than this..

i have purchased the EVDO from last one month, i am getting max download speed is 30kbps only. how can i find out the my EVDO card. is it 144kbps or 2.4 mbps. because exchange peoples are saying it is 2.4 mbps. i got the bill also 550+200=750 rs. monthly. how can i test the speed pls. advice somebody

If its 30 KBps then its a bit less for EVDO, as users here get 50 kBps on an average.
If you mean 30 kbps which I normally get, then you surely on CDMA 1x. Go and change your plan.

@mckishu.. download any files from download.com or any other downloading site using internet download manager... check the transfer rate... be sure that u make the maximum no of connections in the download manager is set to the maximun..(15 or 16)..... this ll tell u ur actual download speed... also tell u ur signal strength and the distance from the tower...

Do you guys actually get 30 KBps download speeds on 1X? Thats cool! From where - RS or direct sites?

I get 30 kbps=3kBps on 1x.
