I installed the software which has been posted bt @djasis..
while running the application it giving error No RUIM card detected and suddenly the ZTe windows disaapear

thank you very much for your effort, I was elated. When I downloaded the file, but when I installed the driver as well as the new programme. I just came to know that the new programme will not worked as it is giving me the message.



"No RIM card inserted."

Any suggestions for this problem.

At present, I am at jaipur, Rajasthan and having Vista home premium as my operating system.

Any information will be appreciated.

I suppose U all don't need to install application. Just try to install drivers manually. Rly sorry. I suppose the app is locked only to SKYLINK Russia, if it is possible, otherwise I don't know why U all have "NO RUIM" message. Exactly no other ideas more.

I tried to install the drivers manually but I got the message that "Drivers can't be loaded as they as not appropriately signed"
I even tried to edit the sys file but when I opened it I found it having entries for some "QC" rather than for "ZTE"...

Ant suggestions anyone.

The drivers u have uploaded are same as already linked in this thread. More over, even though the application is of upgraded version, it is for a UIM based version of this device(having uim or ruim based firmware flash). So it's definately not a BSNL EVDO User's cup of tea. Any way thanks for Sharing link..

Right click My Computer, Properties - > Hardware -> Driver Signing, Select Ignore or Warn. Then you will be able to install.

I downloaded the software and it says that RUIM is missing and does not work with my EVDO card.

Ok people here I have found the ZTE ESN repair solution for ZTE EVDO modems.
Now since the Datacard/modem is from BSNL as long as you have purchased it outright from BSNL the ZTE EVDO modem is your property and hence you can do whatever you want with itGuests cannot see images in the messages. USAGE:
Goto --> System properties -> Device Manager -> ports : & change the "ZTE Diagonostic Interface" to COM1 or COM2
Run the ZTE ESN changer , point to COM1 or COM2 and select read.
Then type the desired ESN and write...
